A visit to a Pumpkin Patch...

This past Saturday the whole family headed to a nearby pumpkin patch to participate in the activities and have some fun.

They had a wide variety of fun things to do including a playground surrounded by bales, a small petting zoo, "punkin' chunkin'", a corn maze, barrel rides, a tractor driven hayride, and a horse drawn hayride. The kids had a blast. And though it looks bright and sunny in the pictures, it was actually freezing outside on Saturday, so the kids had to be rather bundled up the entire time.

Here, Brendan rides one of the little tractors inside the "play area"...
While Halle plays with a ball...

Brendan - our little farmer!

Time to do some "punkin' chunkin'"! All you need is a big, oversized sling-shot and a chunk of pumpkin - pull the sling-shot back, put the pumkin in, let it go, and watch the pumpkin fly into the woods!
Pull it back as far as you can, Brendan! The kids on a barrel ride...
Momma and Halle on the hayride...
Halle almost fell asleep while we were bumping through the fields...

Next up: Halloween pictures and HOPEFULLY some new baby pics (if she ever decides to arrive, that is!) :)
