Church Christmas Program

On December 21st the kids had thier Christmas Program at church. They sang three songs; Silent Night, Away in a Manger, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. They did a great job!

Celebrating Christmas with Grandma Carol

This past Saturday, December 20th, we celebrated Christmas with Grandma Carol and Cameron. The kids were beyond excited at the prospect of opening presents and we had a great time watching their excitement.

Chance was first to open...yay, new jammies!

Aside from tearing off the paper, Chance's favorite part of the night was sitting or standing on any and all boxes...

Next, Halle got a chance to open a couple...a Princess Sleeping bag!

Star of the Week

This past week Brendan had his turn being the class "Star of the Week". We sent pictures and filled out a questionaire to use in decorating his special board. On Friday, I went to his school and surprised him by going to lunch with him - an experience to say the least! - then walked him back to his classroom to snap a few pics and watch him get ready to go outside for recess.

It was really cute, I asked Brendan to stand in the middle of the room so I could take a picture of him in his classroom; the kids that had come back to the classroom after lunch were busy getting their winter gear on and as soon as they heard me they shouted, "Get together! Stand by Brendan so his mom can take our picture!" I got a couple of group shots...so cute! A shot of Brendan standing outside his teacher's classroom... Merry Christmas!!

This year, for a change of pace, we got a live, flocked tree. I think it turned out really pretty!

As Chance's hair gets longer, the fact that his hair is going to be curly is becoming more evident. It's SO cute! :) Here are a few pictures...

The kids have a tube that they love to crawl through, that I'd forgotten they had...until the other day. They brought it out and the fun began! They both started crawling through and being the silly man he is, Chance wanted to be part of the action!
